        AS YOU MAY BE AWARE....

Approximately 1 year ago, our C.A. Sara, was diagnosed with stage two breast cancer. She has asked if she could use the office news page to send a message to our patients about her progress. The following is a letter from her:

        Hello Everyone!

I just wanted to take time to let you all know how things are going with my recovery. So many of you ask when you come in for treatment, but then the conversation is about me and not about the patient!

I am fine at this time. My treatment is finished - no more chemo, no more radiation. ALL of the tests are negative (and my hair has grown back!!) But what is important to me at this time is that YOU know how important your prayers, good wishes, concern and encouragement were to me during this past year. I learned that we have many cancer survivors as patients, (and some great people that have not been so fortunate.) You were eager to share your experiences with me, and your tips about making things easier during treatment. I found myself telling my family and friends that this job has been key in my recovery. Not only because of my great boss and coworkers, but because "the patients are so kind and caring and positive!"

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your concern and kindness - you really made a difference for me!

        Best Wishes,

        Sara
