Name: Diana
Start Date: September, 2004
Position/Title: Administrative Assistant/ Receptionist
Hi! I'm Diana, the front desk receptionist as well as the administrative CA (Chiropractic Assistant). My responsibilities include greeting and registering patients, scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, verifying insurance benefits, collecting payments and typing narrative reports to attorneys. It's been nearly seven years since my initial interview and I can honestly say I love coming to work each day!
I've always loved working in the health field. I particularly enjoy working in a natural, hands-on profession where the emphasis is on finding the cause of the problem rather than covering the symptoms with pain medication. I also enjoy interacting with people, and I love the caring, family atmosphere of our center.
Each day, I'm excited by the positive feedback from our patients on how well they feel now compared to when they first came in and how the doctor has "miracle hands". I know this to be true from my own personal treatment but also from the many friends and family members I've referred here in the past!
Name: Sara
Start Date: February, 2009
Position/Title: CA Therapist
My name is Sara. I joined Dr. Archambault's practice 2 years ago, to fill the position of CA Therapist.
As CA Therapist, I am directly involved in the treatment of the patients. I assist the doctor in the application of percussion massage, electric muscle stimulation and ultrasound therapies when required prior to spinal manipulation. I am also responsible for coordinating the rooms: assuring that the schedule runs smoothly with a minimum of wait time. Further, I assist with all sorts of administrative projects and fill in as CA receptionist as needed.
I really enjoy this job - I tell anyone who will listen! It is very uplifting to help people. Some times when patients get here they can't sit, can't stand, can't breathe or can't turn their heads... but I know that we will be able to make a difference! I help educate people about chiropractic and wellness in general. As a chiropractic patient myself, I can aid them in anticipating the phases of their recovery.
I think our patients are amazing. They do everything from compete in the roller derby to design department store floor plans. We have moms, triathletes, grandparents, babies, telephone operators, horse trainers, scientists, hockey coaches, teachers, policemen, musicians...you name it! I really feel like I get to be a better person because I help so many interesting people!
Name: Kelly
Position: C.A. Therapist
Hello! I'm Kelly, the most recent addition to the practice. As a CA therapist, I enjoy helping our patients achieve better health and lifestyle. I love being a part of such a friendly and positive environment; where everyone on the team is is valued and encouraged to contribute. Whether I'm greeting and assisting patients, applying needed therapies or helping in the office, I witness the wonderful benefits of chiropractic every day.
As a practicing massage therapist with over 15 years of experience, I have always appreciated the need for a comprehensive approach to well being. When I first met Dr. Archambault, I was immediately impressed by his depth of knowledge and his caring manner. I have since referred my own massage clients, friends and family; and I have become one of his biggest fans. I am a very active person and prone to injury. Dr. Archambault has been able to resolve some nagging conditions I have suffered with for years. Whether I'm giving a massage, practicing yoga, hiking, swimming or dancing; I know that "Dr. A" will keep me going!
One of the best parts of my day is when I transcribe patient notes and hear Dr. Archambault's words: " patient presents stating that she felt much relief following the last treatment..." It seems most notes begin like this; including my own!
ON SITE MASSAGE THERAPIST:
Ann Murray of Murray Muscular Therapy Associates.
I graduated from The Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge in 2002.
Prior to becoming a massage therapist, I had graduated from Framingham State College in 1983 with a BS in biology and spent the next 15 years working as a medical technologist in area hospitals. It was during that time that I suffered an injury to my neck and was referred for massage therapy and also to Dr. Archambault for chiropractic care. It literally changed my life! Never an advocate of symptom-masking medication, I loved the idea of achieving wellness through hands on therapy. Within a few weeks I was well again.
Shortly thereafter, I decided to pursue a career in the field of massage therapy. I have practiced in my home town of Arlington for 9 years and I love it!
As a massage therapist, I am fully aware of the importance of the natural healing that takes place during chiropractic care and massage therapy. Three years ago, I was pleased to be able to move my practice to the Archambault Chiropractic and Wellness Center. This has afforded me the opportunity to enhance my knowledge of neuromuscular conditions and their treatment. Further, what excites me most about working in this office is the collaboration between Dr. Archambault and myself, which results in superior care for his patients and my clients.
I feel fortunate to be a part of such a caring health care facility - I love it here and so will you!
